Central UK Resort Hotel is committed to providing a safe, responsible, and enjoyable entertainment environment for all our adult guests. We take our duty of care seriously and actively support responsible participation in all entertainment activities offered on our premises.

We operate in full compliance with the Gambling Act 2005 and are licensed by the Gambling Commission of Great Britain. Our entertainment team receives regular training in responsible play practices, recognising signs of problematic behaviour, and signposting guests to appropriate support.

Age Verification Policy

We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy across all our entertainment and bar facilities. If you appear to be under 25, you will be asked to provide valid photographic proof of age. Accepted forms of ID include:

• UK or EU Passport
• UK Driving Licence (full or provisional)
• PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme) accredited card
• National Identity Card (EEA countries)

Any person unable to prove they are 18 or over will be refused entry. This policy is non-negotiable.

Playing Within Your Means

We encourage all guests to approach entertainment activities as a form of leisure — not as a means to make money. Before participating, we recommend you consider the following principles:

• Set a budget before you start and stick to it
• Treat any losses as the cost of your evening's entertainment
• Never borrow money to fund entertainment activities
• Take regular breaks and do not chase losses
• Balance entertainment with dining, socialising, and other activities
• Do not participate when tired, upset, or under the influence of alcohol

Recognising Warning Signs

It is important to be aware of the signs that entertainment may be becoming problematic. Consider seeking support if you notice the following in yourself or someone you know:

• Spending more time or money on entertainment than intended
• Feeling unable to stop or control participation
• Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund entertainment
• Neglecting work, family, or other responsibilities
• Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not participating
• Hiding entertainment activities from family or friends
• Chasing losses in an attempt to recover money

Self-Exclusion
